$190 per couple or for total both couples?
If you're looking for $190 total, you are not likely to find anything clean and safe - that means less than $47.50 per night per room. Even if your budget is $190 per couple, this won't go far in the Disneyland area. Even the Motel 6 Maingate is $81.69 per night for the dates of your stay. Keep in mind that your dates are "high season" at Disneyland. You might try the Eden Roc Inn - the reviews aren't terrific, but the nightly rate is around $45 per night (though discount sites such as hotels.com or hoteldiscount.com).
I know it's not ideal, but you may want to consider getting a room with two queen beds and sharing a room. This way, at least you can get into the Motel 6 (which is actually a pretty decent place for the price).
When you're shopping around, a few tips to keep in mind:
1. The hotels on Harbor Blvd. are closest to the park entrance.
2. Beware of hidden and unmentioned fees; many places say that they offer Wifi and parking, but actually charge $10 per day extra for each of these. Many less expensive spots also tack on a resort fee.
3. Taxes will increase the price of your room by around 10 - 15% total.
4. Most hotels are on the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) route; this is a shuttle that will bring you to the park for a fee; none of the lowest priced hotels have a free shuttle.
5. You also may want to consider staying a bit further away and driving to the park. A parking pass is $10 per day at the resort, but you may end up saving enough to make this worth it.
I wish I had a happier solution for you; with your budget and the busy time of year, something on your wish list is going to have to give!
P.S. In response to the below, it will most likely be fine to swim at the end of March. It was great swimming weather when I was there three weeks ago.
