My brother and I (34 & 28, both single) are going to Las Vegas later this month. It will be my first time there. Any suggestions for things I shouldn't leave Vegas without doing?

I got back today from my first trip there. ITS AMAZING.

ive gotta be quick but il tell you some things we did that you should definately gotta do.

Go up the eiffel tower at the paris hotel. Its 9 dollars each, well worth it, great views of the strip!

Gondala ride at the venitian, this was one of them things just to say you have done it, its 15 dollars each

A MUST is get a helicopter ride over the strip at night. The company I went with was HELI USA, it was called the Appolo night flight. It was 90 dollars each (WELL WORTH IT) it was brilliant.

go up the stratosphere (cant remember how much that was, but it wasnt much) The views up there are superb. I went on the Big Shot ride at the top which was also great!

The rollercoaster at the New York New York is a great ride too, so go on that!

Grand canyon tour in a plane we did and it was superb. We did the non landing one, which was 164 dollars each, they pick you up from your hotel and drop you off. The whole trip from pick up to drop off took 3.5 hours. Great stuff! It takes 45 minutes to get to the canyon and 45 mins back, so your in the plane for a good 1.5 hours!

Be sure to check out all the hotels, theyre very impressive, especially the Bellagio, Venitian, Caesars, and the Wynn. Check out the Light on top of the Luxor at night. Its the most powerful light in the world, and I have read that it can be seen from space! Its extreemly bright!

Go to the buffet at the Bellagio.. Brilliant!

Wax works at the Venitian

The fountains outside the Bellagio are good to watch. They dance away to the music. At night it gets really crowded tho all around th lake coz of all the people trying to watch them. A good place to watch them is the top of the eiffel tower.

The gardens are nice at the Flamingo hotel. It has flamingos in it. Watch out for the low flying birds tho, I thought they were gonna fly into me!

If you into cars there is a great car collection to see at the Imperial palace (I was suprised at how good this was, theres some great cars there!) One was for sale for 2.4 million dollars!

I wouldnt bother with the art gallery at the Bellagio, and I was a bit dissapointed with the shark reef at the mandalay bay.

We eat at Bellagio, Caesars, Paris, MGM, and Venitian, and the food was great at all them places. I also thought the food was reasonably priced.

The White tigers are nice in the Mirage hotel. Also at the mirage every hour at night a volcano erupts. We did not see this but I can bet its impressive! You can spend 5 minutes with some cute cubs at a hotel, i cant remember which hotel it is, but for the 5 minutes its 200 dollars each.. we didnt bother

Rite at the bottom of the strip past the mandalay bay hotel is the famous 'Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas Nevada' You gotta get a photo of that!

The shopping is really good in Las Vegas. The forum shops at Caesars Palace are really good. I dont like shopping but the shopping was that good in Vegas I actually enjoyed it! The freemont street shopping experience is great too. Its rite at the top end of the strip up past the Stratosphere.

You will not be bored, theres loads to do in Las Vegas. We had an awesome time! Have an awesome time too!

Some great answers already, but I would really make sure I didn't miss going to the Ghost Bar at the Palms one night. Awesome looking club with a view over the city from 55 floors up.

There's lots to do in Vegas! Make sure you make reservations for shows in advance, you might want to look into nightclubs, if you enjoy dancing -

Single guys in Vegas usually enjoy a visit to the Palms Casino and the Rio (late nights) the nightclubs at both these Casino's are great for singles. If you golf - check out the golf courses here, hike? Red Rock Canyon is gorgeous in the mornings. If you want to see Vegas outside of the strip - try the Grand Canyon Tours and ATV Tours, the guys at http://www.adventurelasvegas.com usually have great prices on tours in vegas.

I had some clients work with these guys http://www.vegasstatusvip.com/ and they helped set them up with a few night clubs and parties in town. You might want to give them a shout.

-Check out all the Casinos

- Eat buffet (I like the Madalay Bay, heard lot of good things about the one in Belligo)

-See the Belligo fountains, see their Courtyard Area and dine a one or two of their restaurant (I like Sensei and the Courtyard Cafe)

-go to a Cirque du Soleil Show (O at Bellaigo or Marquis at Tresure Island to start)

-Gambling (made sure you join the player's club first, find the player club counter in any casino, you can get free comp (aka free meal) out of it.

-Go to Freemont Street at nigh for lazer light show and check out old vegas

-Check out a couple of club like Studio 54 at the MGM, Pure at Ceaser Palace, TAO at the Ventiaion to start...

You are going to get a lot of different answers to this question, and basically, it depends upon what you like to do.

There are a couple of things that I would suggest. Take a little drive and find the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. It's smaller then you would think and people are always jaywalking to go have their picture taken in front of it. That's a great picture to take home and show off!

The weather has been really nice, so I would try and spend sometime out at the hotel pool. Nothing like spending an afternoon out in the sun while someone brings you cold cocktails and you people watch. Some hotel pools are better then others. The Palms, the Hard Rock and Mandalay Bay have some of the best, so if you are staying there, that would be a must see.

Most people will say you should go see a show. There are lots of shows in Vegas so try and pick one that you are going to like. If you are a broadway musical type, check out Spam-a-lot at the Wynn. It's based on Monty Python so it's really funny. If that's not your thing and want to see something more traditionally Vegas, check out Jubilee at Bally's. It's been playing for more then 25 years, and has a ton of the typical showgirl costumes that people associate with Vegas. The late night show is topless as well. If you want something unusual, check out any of the Cirque De Soleil shows. The costumes, music and acrobatics are amasing.

If you are a gambler, but not up to par on the rules of a particular game, most casinos offer lessons in the mornings before the casino gets too crowded. the dealers will help you out as much as they can too because they want you to play. Check out downtown because the tables are usually less expensive then the strip and they have more of that old school Vegas feel. Plus you can see the laser show and get deep-fried twinkies.

This may sound crazy but if you are a fan of Hunter S Thompson, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, check out Circus Circus. They still have the rotating carosel bar that was featured in the book. Sit down, and have a drink, maybe try your hand at a carnival game later.

If you want to get off of the strip and see something else of Las Vegas check out either Red Rock Canyon, or Mt Charleston. Red Rock Canyon is a short drive and offers great hiking. Mt Charleston is a little bit further off but could still have some snow up at the higher elevations.

You should spend a little bit of time on the strip just watching people. To me the best way to do this is to have dinner at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris. Be sure to make a reservation and request a patio table. That way you'll be outside, can watch all the people, plus you'll see the fountain show at the Bellagio, and get a great meal.

Other then that, just have fun! There is no way you can squeeze in everything to do in Vegas in just one trip. Don't try and do everything in one day, just relax and enjoy yourself.
