1) Do ALL Vegas clubs have a cover charge? = It depends on the club but yes most do. For girls its $40 and guys it can be up to $80 for a good club like XS, Tao, Jet or Pure..

2) Do you recommend those clubs? Yes any club is good in vegas but XS is the most hardest one to get into..

3) How long do you normally have to wait in line to enter the club and does everyone get in who waits in line? It can be up to a 2-3 hour wait.

4) What is the difference between the VIP and Guest list? I have been doing research and people are saying if you get VIP passes,, you can skip the long lines and go right in and get free drinks while you're in the club and bottle service and what not, but that is way expensive and we don't that money, so that's not an option? You know what! If you walk the strip there are guys actually HANDING out passes or so called VIP passes for anybody who wants to take one so join the crowd, you will be greeted with 100's of people who all have a VIP pass just like you so you'll still be stuck waiting to get in, you may not have to pay but you will still wait!

5) What is the guest list? This is the best! A guesslist is when somebody who has series connections or works at the club you plan to go to has a list that he adds people to! There is NO WAITING IN LINE you just walk up to the front of the line. There should be a guy who is holding a clipboard with names. You walk up and give your name and your friends, he verifies your on the list and waalaaa! The bouncers will open the rope for you and your friends and you will walk right in the club, no waiting in line and no fee. This is what i have to XS, Jet, Pure, Rain, Playboy Club, Tryst and many others because i have people working the clubs i know.. You dont have to get bottle service for this, its just a golden ticket into the club and you can dance, buy a couple of drinks at $10-$15 a cup and just dance the night away, which i do! I probably can get you on my guesslist if your nice! LMAO!

Yes most have cover charges which are generally waived if you are staying at that hotel

Clubs are fine but realize that the bottle service (to get a table/seat) is $300up and people end up with multiple hundred dollar bills

Not everyone gets it. There is a dress code and they want a balance of men and women

VIP may get you in but not free drinks

1) yes, all vegas clubs have a cover charge. sometimes exceptions are made for girls, and sometimes local girls with nevada ID get in for free. all the big clubs that you listed are hard to get into and there is no way a regular guy gets in without paying.

2) you have the list of the best clubs spot on. palms is a great place to stay because you have rain, playboy, ghost, and moon right there. moon is awesome. i absolutely recommend XS (imo best club in vegas as of right now). you can't go wrong with any of them.

3) the lines totally depend on the whims of the bouncers and hosts. sometimes groups of hot girls can bypass the line--so look your best--but it is next to impossible to sneak a guy in past the line--UNLESS you grease the bouncers. typically, a guy can get a his party to the front of the line by greasing $100. the lines can be extremely long--i recommend going early and greasing the bouncer. it's worth the money to not waste all that time.

4 and 5) most VIP lists are totally bunk. friends of employees and casino host invitees are usually on the list as well as whoever else is in their party. you might get some offer to be a VIP or pick up some VIP card to go to a club somewhere--then you show up and EVERYONE has a VIP card. VIP is generally meaningless. even if you are on the list you still have to wait to get in. the ONLY sure fire way to bypass everyone and go straight in is if you get bottle service--which as you said is very expensive. but let's say you have a party of 4. let's say cover is $50, and let's say you grease a bouncer $100 so $25 a piece. then you each have 8 drinks at 6-8 bucks a piece (yep it's that expensive) plus tip so you each spend about $70 on drinks. well you've just outlayed about $145 for the night anyways. at a lot of places you can get bottle service for about $450 including tip especially if you show up early. you might get a second bottle you might not, but at least you have a place to sit and congregate. and you can always milk that bottle and buy additional drinks if you want. by paying a little more you might have a much better time. something to think about. also, be aware that some places have 2-3 bottle minimums when it's REALLY happening like new years or something. but that's rare and we're in a recession so you won't have a problem.

in my opinion, standing in line waiting to get in a vegas club is one of the biggest wastes of time you can possibly suffer. good luck!

1) Yes, most nightclubs have a cover charge. Cheaper for ladies and more expensive for guys.

2) XS, Rain, Ghostbar and TAO are among the best clubs in Vegas. Add Pure and Vanity to that list.

3) On the weekends you can stand in line up an hour and there is no guarantees you will enter the club

4) VIP pass gives you from of the line access. Guest list guarantees you entrance. Get the Palms All Access pass and that lets you into Moon, Rain, Playboy and Ghostbar

Another good pass is the TAO and LAVO passes.
