Also be careful with the weight. Lots say no dogs over 49 pounds. I would not bring my Jersey dog out here when I moved in 2006. She was exceeding that weight. And believe it or not, when I was at the apartment was talking to a lady one day with a Black Lab. She got evicted as the dog was over the weight limit. Lots now are imposing a 25 pound restriction and then your rent will be xx dollars with a surcharge of $20, $25 a month for your pet. Good luck to you.

You will have to contact each apartment area and ask what their restrictions are. The list will take forever for people to come up with here.
Check the area you want to live in and then do a Yahoo! Search for the website of the place and see what it says

Most rental houses are usually less restrictive then an apartment complex. Some houses could be rented for as much as what you pay for rent in an apartment. However, you would have to pay a pet deposit and there is usually a limit to the number of pets you can have.
I'd get a Real Estate Broker (not an agent) who could help you with this. You can also do your own search for pet friendly apartments/ houses on realtor.com. Look for apartments that advertise "Big Dogs Okay". I'm pretty sure that I've seen some around in the Summerlin area, but I couldn't tell you specifically where or what they would charge.
